Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
